Welcome to my website.  For ease of navigation, I have included the full "Site Contents" with links to all pages at the bottom of each page.  If you haven't been here before or are looking for something in particular, this would be a good place for you to start.  I hope you enjoy this site but if you have any questions or quires, please contact me at the address below.  Here's just some of the things you will find here:

Personal

These pages contain all my personal details and include:  A brief biography with "Ben" my dog, my past friend and companion and my personal Photo Gallery (this may take a little time to load, so enjoy the music). 

Wicca/Witchcraft

These pages contain information about "Wicca" and "Witchcraft".  Religion down through the ages has always caused controversy, no less so in this day and age.  It was my intention on these pages to write an exposé on the evils associated with Witchcraft, Paganism, Satanism and the Black Arts, but like many misinformed people, I had a preconceived view of the subject.  I had expected to be writing about Ritual Sacrifices, Sexual Orgies and Evil Spells etc.  How wrong I was.  

I am now taking an active interest in "Wicca", "Witchcraft" and "Paganism", and while I don't necessarily consider myself a "Witch", I do practice some elements of the craft that I feel benefits my beliefs and personal circumstances.  Take a look and experience some true facts about witchcraft as I strive learn about it myself.

This was how I started some years ago.  Now due to the amount off comments being made in my Guest Book, I thought it about time I set up a place were visitors to this website can go and discuss, ask questions, share opinions, seek further information or share their own experiences in a convivial and friendly atmosphere.  Indeed it would also be a place were people can submit their own articles for inclusion in this website, though this will only be done with permission and with full credits remaining with the author.  By doing so, I would hope to make my website a truly interactive one and expand its knowledge base to include all aspects of Wicca, Witchcraft and Magick.

Email Witches is a pagan friendly email group attracting people from all walks of life, from all spectrums of society and from all around the world.  Most are individuals seeking a personal practical religion that can be adapted to their own needs and criteria, and Wicca is a wonderfully diverse religion that meets these needs.  Email Witches is set up as a place were those of same interest can meet, discuss, share and gain more information about their chosen paths.  All visitors to this website are welcome, so why not join us today and make new friends?

Greetings one and all, time for an up-date  :-)

I have added a new section to the website this week, which I hope you will all find helpful.  Want to know what's going on in England???  See my list of Pagan Conferences and Witchy Events UK  This is by no means an exhaustive list, and I have more to add as soon as I have confirmed their details and contact information.  If you would like your own event added to this page, please send your details with a short description and a contact references to me at:  George@controverscial.com  I shall be happy to add your listing once I have confirmed your details.  These Conferences and Events will be up-dated weekly were possible.

Here's another article from our contributing author Patricia Jean Martin, adding to her brilliant series of articles on Stone's.  In this article she elaborates on the correspondences of Hematite, a powerful stone used for divination and an excellent stone for any mental clarity that one may need or desire to obtain.  Again my grateful my thanks to Pari for allowing me to share her knowledge and working experience of stones with you all  :-)
